Hello! My name is
Katie Guenther

I am a natural light, on location, portrait and wedding photographer based out of the St. Louis area.
The reason I wanted a fancy camera my junior year of high school?... –as said to my Dad, “I want a big camera that makes that cool click sound when you take a picture!” – and that’s the embarrassing truth.
I soon learned once I got that big fancy camera that it wasn’t as easy as I thought.
About 2 years of “What does this button do?” and “OHH! That’s what it does!”, as well as purchasing a few more cameras and accessories, I finally got the hang of it and now I truly appreciate and enjoy everything about photography.
I LOVE to photograph families, children, maternity, newborns, seniors, engagements, weddings (starting July 2012), and everything in between!
Some Randomness!
-I currently attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
-I cannot wait to graduate so I can fully devote my time to my business.
-My favorite season is definitely Fall
-Reasons why?
-Colors!
-Beautiful weather!
-& my birthday! (October 14th)
-I drive a red dodge neon with a bright pink steering wheel cover
-I am directionally challenged and need my GPS to get me everywhere, including to the all the locations my clients choose
-The TV and radio volume must be on an even number, or I will go insane
-I took a film photography course and I still have no clue how in the olden days, you took a picture and couldn't look at it right away
-Branson, MO and Panama City Beach will always be my homes away from home
