I will book up to one year in advance!What are we getting?1 set of 4x6 proofs1 high resolution disc with all edited pictures with print release (approximately 50 images)When should we schedule a session?I only schedule sessions 2-3 hours before sunset to get the best lighting for your portraits, so please plan for this time when picking a session date. What should we wear?I get this question quite often! With family pictures dealing with many people, it is hard to decide what everyone should wear, so everyone will look nice, but still coordinated. Don't be afraid of color! I recommend to stay away from plain white, plain black, large logos, and identical outfits1 All in all, it is important that everyone is comfortable for family pictures! Where should we go?With family portraits, parks are usually the best places. They provide large grassy areas and lots of room for the kiddos to run around. Forest Park, Tower Grove Park, and Lafeyette Park are three that I would recommend, but if you have any other locations, please feel free to suggest them! If you choose a location with an entrance or parking fee, my addmission must be paid. Also, some locations do not allow professional photographers to take pictures, so you must find out if it is okay before your session.**a travel fee will apply 25 miles outside of Granite City, IL**What should we bring?For family sessions with younger children, I suggest bringing a few snacks just in case there are some meltdowns throughout the session. I have no problem taking a quick break if this happens! I like to take pictures lying in the grass, but if anyone has allergies or you have young ones, sometimes bringing a large blanket or quilt helps to keep ants, dirt, or wet grass off clothes. Have a family dog? Bring him/her along to be included in the family portraits! What if it rains?I try to wait until at least 3 days before the session to reschedule for the weather. I check it constantly and usually 30% chance or less means I am still on for the session. Do not worry if it comes your session day and the sun is not out! Overcast is perfect when it comes to portraits, because there are no harsh shadows! Please expect the typical weather of the month you schedule in! If you have any concerns about the weather on your session date, feel free to contact me.What if my child is sick?If your child or children are sick please let me know so we can reschedule. I do not feel I would be able to fully capture your childs personality if they are feeling under the weather. I will try to reschedule you as closely as possibly to your original date.When do we get our pictures?I will deliver your disc and 4x6 prints 2-3 weeks from the date of your session.
